E-commerce manager

THE PROFILE:

The E-commerce Specialist will be responsible for managing the company's online sales strategies and providing an excellent shopping experience, implementing the necessary commercial actions. He/she will also have to ensure that each initiative and project is properly implemented, monitored and analyzed according to key KPIs.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing product and brand marketing activities on the company website and on Line channels.
  • Supervising product upload activities to the on Line catalogs on the company website and various marketplaces.
  • Supervising the management and fulfillment of orders.
  • Coordinating end-to-end operations processes: returns and refunds flow, payment method tracking and fraud and chargeback management).
  • Managing communication with external partners (brand and/or business partners such as Farfetch, UPS, DHL, Paypal, etc.).
  • Online pricing management (including markdowns, discounts and promotions).
  • Overseeing the front-end and back-end of the site.
  • Monitoring online sales trends: creating reports on results and consequently proposing solutions to optimize them.
  • Proactively participate in the seasonal forecasting process and monitoring of results (n. online SKU- oversee online brand identity, image, copywriting and content distribution on the website ensuring alignment with the marketing team and editorial calendar).
  • Ensuring innovation and optimization of processes, fixing any bugs.

 

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or equivalent
  • Prior experience of at least 5 years in related role, preferably within Fashion Luxury Retail Multibrand contexts.
  • Experience in Budget and Forecast management
  • Knowledge of the dynamics of the main fashion marketplaces (e.g. Farfetch)
  • Proficiency in the use of systems, platforms and technologies necessary to perform the job: Office package, especially Excel; As400 and/or SAP; Shopify; Google Analytics.
  • Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written)
  • Problem solving, analytical, flexibility, team working and communication skills.
